WHAT DOES LACTIC ACID DO FOR YOUR SKIN? It brightens, smoothes and evens out the skin, while making it look firmer. It helps reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and dark spots.
WHAT IS LACTIC ACID? It is a hydrating alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) commonly derived from milk, but there are alternative vegan sources, such as fermented corn starch, beets, and other high-sugar foods.
ONE THING I SHOULD NOT PAIR IT WITH? Don't use it on days you use retinol as both are potent ingredients. Alternate between the two to avoid irritation.
